Evolution not revolution
CLL is a resource for in-house lawyers on everything other than the law. They needed a site that better supported the type of article-based content that they typically feature.
The branding needed to be WCAG compliant and evolved from their existing branding materials.
A more direct and human tone and feel was also a key requirement.
Keeping the eye engaged
It was essential to develop a set of site templates and modular blocks that would enable quite lengthy content and articles to still read well and help focus the user's eye on the key points of interest.
Evolving a print based brand to be more effective and useable online is always a challenge. By applying the accepted digital best practices and a designers eye, a successful and rewarding outcome can be achieved.
