Bird & Bird are a leading international law firm with over 1,100 lawyers based in 27 offices across Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Konstructive were commissioned to manage the development of a new leading-edge website for the firm, to be built using the Sitecore Experience Platform. The Sitecore Experience Platform provides an excellent foundation for marketing automation and personalisation.

The site was one of the first responsive websites for a major law firm globally, and has been well received by both partners and Bird & Bird clients. It was voted the winner of the People’s Choice Award in the Sitecore ‘Site of the Year’ Awards.

The site is fully multilingual, with full language translation of core content across 10 languages and the management of local content, ensuring that the site is engaging for both an international and local audience.

The project was delivered over 9 months, on time and budget, and involving a wide range of stakeholders.

Also developed was a news bespoke app. A first for this organisation.

Law firms are difficult to navigate and it is particularly hard to get agreement to design decisions, which are quite subjective and personal. The team at Konstructive understood incredibly quickly what was required and created an initial concept that was so impressive that everyone we showed it to just said that it was exactly what was needed, completely short-circuiting the process. Having unexpectedly got sign off ahead of time for the designs, they then followed it through into the page designs with an intelligent, focused approach that delivered great results. The work they did helped build the credibility of marketing as a whole and, in doing so, it has been critical in the transformation of the firm’s wider reputation.
